Uncanny
CCR — CO2OLTEC Commercial Refrigeration

The digital experience layer behind CCR's EuroShop booth.

Uncanny led the digital experience across CCR's EuroShop booth, creating the films, interactive tools, reveal content, and screen systems that helped visitors understand, explore, and remember the brand.

The brief

CCR (CO2OLTEC Commercial Refrigeration) is a global leader in sustainable refrigeration for retail, food service, and industrial cooling. For EuroShop 2026, they needed their booth to communicate a complex product and technology portfolio with the clarity, pace, and polish of a flagship brand experience.

Uncanny was brought in to turn that ambition into one connected booth experience.

The challenge

Make a complex portfolio easy to understand.

CCR needed their EuroShop presence to work for multiple audiences at once: retailers looking for commercial value, engineers looking for technical depth, and press looking for a clear innovation story.

That meant connecting brand film, product interaction, 3D data, technology storytelling, and live screen content into one booth experience that could guide a visitor from first impression to meaningful sales conversation.

Our role

One partner for the booth's digital experience layer.

Uncanny shaped the booth's digital experience from concept to deployment, working across film, interactive applications, product storytelling, and on-site screen systems. Every asset was designed to feel part of the same visitor journey.

What we built

Six experiences, one connected system.

What we built
01

Hero Dome Film

Brand film · 360° dome projection

The booth's flagship brand film was designed for a 360° dome projection surface, turning CCR's sustainability and refrigeration story into an immersive first impression. Uncanny wrote, directed, and produced the piece specifically for the space, so the film surrounded visitors instead of playing like a conventional screen asset.

Ecore Reveal Film

Launch film · private reveal event

For the launch of CCR's Ecore product concept, Uncanny created a dedicated reveal film and presentation moment for an invited audience during EuroShop week. The goal was to give the product a focused launch before trusted partners and clients.

Product Viewer

Interactive sales tool · 3D product navigation

The Product Viewer gave CCR's sales team a live 3D tool for presenting the full product range on the booth. Instead of relying on static catalogue pages, teams could navigate products, configurations, and product stories in a more visual and conversational way.

Technology Corner

Technical storytelling

The Technology Corner showcases CCR's mastery across cooling technologies in clear booth displays. Each panel reduced a dense engineering narrative into a visual explanation visitors could grasp quickly, without losing the credibility of the underlying technology.

Ambient Screen Loop

Looping motion content · secondary booth screens

The ambient loop gave CCR's secondary screens a constant visual rhythm without competing with live conversations. It kept the booth active between product demos, presentations, and sales moments, reinforcing the brand atmosphere throughout the space.

LED Cube

Suspended LED volume · booth centerpiece

A suspended LED cube running bespoke content designed specifically for its six-sided canvas. Uncanny directed the content pipeline so every face worked as both a standalone loop and part of the wider cube composition — legible from the floor, from the neighbouring stands, and from the mezzanine above.

How it came together

Seven months from strategy to deployment.

From July 2025 to February 2026, the project moved through stakeholder interviews, creative development, 3D data coordination, software build, content production, and final deployment. By the time doors opened in Düsseldorf, the digital layer was ready to support the full visitor journey across the booth.

The outcome

What the work created for CCR.

01

A unified booth experience across film, interaction, product storytelling, and live display.

02

A tangible Digital Services demo that visitors could explore instead of passively watch.

03

A focused Ecore launch moment designed for a high-value invited audience.

04

A reusable content and 3D asset base for future events, sales tools, and product communication.
